Rev Angela Palmer
Rev. Angela Palmer was born in the sunny Island of Jamaica to Rankling and Florette Palmer. In the early 60’s along with her siblings she rejoined her parents in Gloucester England where she spent most of her formative years.
She moved to Northampton from Gloucester New Testament Church of God through Gods prompting in 1996. She served the NTCG Northampton church faithfully in a variety of capacities for fifteen years. Her subsequent role as Associate Pastor and Women’s Ministry President Teacher and Mentor gave her much grounding, and opportunities that would challenged her to go beyond more than what she could have ever imagined.
A graduate of Overstone Theological College, she also gained a Bachelors of Ministry Degree through the European Theological Seminary.
No stranger to the conference floor, and an avid speaker, she has ministered in women’s conferences at home and abroad. She has a God given call and passion for Missions and has travelled for this purpose to Uganda, India, Kenya and Jamaica.
A graduate from the Gloucestershire Collage of Art and Design, she continues to use her artistic abilities, and is currently engaged in a mission’s project using her water colour paintings that are sold to raise funds for benevolent projects.
Rev. Angela regards bringing up Godly and successful children as one of her greatest achievements. A mother of two Adult children Tanya and Richard, a son in law Michael and four grand children Christian Charlotte, Cieran and Chloe who she regards as ‘Gods’ gifts.’
Her desire is to stay ‘a tool’ for soul winning in The Masters Hand. Receiving a specific call to minister to women, her aim is to help in propelling women to achieve beyond their wildest expectation. Her prayer is that her life will be a testimony to those who despite adversity now that God has a great plan for their life.
This appointment to the Pastorate in Wellingborough will bring new challenges, but Rev. Palmer has all confidence in her God who has called her to this area of ministry, to do the unthinkable, and to realise the intangible. With a vision and divine strategy and the support of the Church and District her goal is to win the lost and reach the community of Wellingborough.
